Wesenau is a group in the municipality of Fuschl am See in the northeast of the Austrian state of Salzburg .
The place is south of Fuschl directly on the bank of the Fuschlsee and a little west of the mouth of the Ellmaubach in the lake. Due to its location near the lake, it is touristy and offers swimming and sports facilities as well as overnight accommodation.
