Wesley Verhoek (born September 25, 1986 in Leidschendam ) is a Dutch football player who is a professional under contract with FC Pune City in India .

Career

In the 2011/12 season he was under contract with ADO Den Haag , for whom he played in the Eredivisie between 2004 and winter 2012 . From August 2011, the striker, who can be used in the left or right wing position, was in the Hague attack together with his younger brother John - after he had turned down an offer from Nottingham Forest to stay in his home country.

In the winter of 2012 he moved to FC Twente Enschede , and almost six months later he was exchanged for Jerson Cabral from Feyenoord Rotterdam . Verhoek played for the Rotterdam team until he was loaned to the Go Ahead Eagles for the second half of the 2014/15 season . In June 2015, Verhoek and Feyenoord terminated their contract prematurely. In September 2015, he joined Pune City FC to play in the Indian Super League .
