West Ratekau

West Ratekau was a municipality in the Oldenburg principality of Lübeck in the district of Schwartau (in today's Ostholstein district in Schleswig-Holstein ).

The municipality of West-Ratekau was established on November 1, 1856 as part of the introduction of a new municipal code for the Grand Duchy of Oldenburg and included the villages of Sereetz , Ratekau , Pansdorf , Groß Timmendorf , Klein Timmendorf, Hobbersdorf , Hemmelsdorf , Rohlsdorf , Ruppersdorf , Techau and Luschendorf .

The seat of the administration of the municipality West-Ratekau was Pansdorf.

On December 1, 1910, the community of West Ratekau had 3,574 inhabitants.

In 1934, the municipality of West Ratekau was merged with the municipality of East Ratekau to form the municipality of Ratekau due to the Oldenburg Simplification Act .
