Pansdorf is a village in the municipality of Ratekau in the Ostholstein district in Schleswig-Holstein . With around 3500 inhabitants, Pansdorf is the third largest of the 13 villages in the municipality.

Pansdorf is located west of Timmendorfer Strand about five kilometers from the Baltic Sea coast. The Schwartau flows west of the village .

It is a part of the northern season of the northern edge of the northern Hauptendmoräne associated with the so-called southern the Baltic ridge representing forming moraine .
