West Cameron Township is a township in Northumberland County , Pennsylvania in the United States . At the time of the United States Census 2010 , 541 people lived here. In 2000 the township had 517 inhabitants.

According to the United States Census Bureau , the township has a total area of ​​30.7 km 2 , without any significant body of water. West Cameron Township is geographically bounded in the north by Mahanoy Mountain and in the south by Line Mountain . The two mountains form a valley that is drained by Mahanoy Creek . Administratively, the township borders (clockwise) on the Zerbe Township and the Coal Township in the north, the East Cameron Township in the east, the Upper Mahhanoy Township and Washington Township in the south and the Little Mahanoy Township in the west.

The geographic coordinates of the Township be 40 ° 45 '  N , 76 ° 37'  W . There's one settlement in the township, West Cameron. It is a street village that essentially extends along Upper Road. This road connects Trevorton in Zerbe Township with Gown City in East Cameron Township.
