Whitfield Crane IV (born January 19, 1968 in Palo Alto , California ) is an American singer who worked for the bands Ugly Kid Joe , Life of Agony , Medication and Another Animal .

Career

Crane became known as a founding member, singer and front man of Ugly Kid Joe , who formed in 1989 and disbanded in 1997, but re-formed in 2010. Following the breakup of Ugly Kid Joe in 1997, Crane worked for Life of Agony for some time.

Eventually he founded Medication with Logan Mader , which disbanded in 2003. In 2006 he founded another project called Another Animal with ex-Ugly Kid Joe drummer Shannon Larkin and other Godsmack members (except Sully Erna ) , with which he released an album in 2007.

Since 2018, Whitfield Crane has been the front man and singer of the band Yellowcake in addition to Ugly Kid Joe.

Over the years Crane has appeared on various compilation and tribute albums. In 2000 he sang Reaching Out on the tribute album for the late Snot singer Lynn Strait . He also had a cameo in the film Ellie Parker in 2005 . He can also be seen at Motörheads 25 & Alive: Boneshaker .
