Wickbolsen is a district of the town of Hessisch Oldendorf in the Weser Uplands in the Hameln-Pyrmont district in the south of Lower Saxony and is located directly on the Hohenstein . Together with the districts of Langenfeld, Zersen, Barksen and Krückeberg, it forms the village of Hohenstein.
history
The first documentary mention comes from the founding document of Fischbeck Abbey from January 10, 955 and describes four Hufen land in "Vuigbaldeshusun".
