Wiebke tom Dieck

Wiebke tom Dieck (* 1973 ) is a German pianist.

Life

After graduating from the Max-Planck-Gymnasium in Göttingen in 1992 , Wiebke tom Dieck majored in piano with Martin Dörrie at the Hanover University of Music and Drama and lied at the Cologne University of Music with Jürgen Glauß. She completed guest studies with Hartmut Höll in Karlsruhe and took master classes with George Crumb , Norman Shetler , Lew Nikolajewitsch Naumow , Konrad Elser and Jan-Philipp Schulze, among others .

Published in 2007 Wiebke tom Dieck, together with the soprano Silke Evers album Taken on which the two musicians in Duo songs, among others, Johannes Brahms , Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy , Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Richard Strauss interpreted.

She also performs internationally and is the pianist with the DolceDiva opera cabaret .

Wiebke tom Dieck lives in Berlin .

1997: Annual grant from the European Piano Teachers Association due to Wiebke tom Dieck's presentation of piano works at the EPTA Congress Piano Music after 1950 .
2003: Special prize for the best interpretations of modern music at the 5th International Competition "Franz Schubert and Modern Music" in Graz in a duo with the soprano Silke Evers.
2003: Working grant from the Paula and Albert Salomon Foundation
2004: 2nd prize in the music competition of the Kulturkreis der deutschen Wirtschaft in the BDI in a duo with Silke Evers.

Wiebke tom Dieck is a great-granddaughter of Max tom Dieck and Walter Klingenberg and the youngest daughter of Tammo tom Dieck .
She made a guest appearance as a pianist in an episode of the soap opera Unter Uns .
