Walter Klingenberg (actually: Waltar Klingenberg, born June 13, 1881 in Zwischenahn , Oldenburg ; † October 6, 1963 there ) was a German architect who, together with Werner Issel, dedicated himself to the construction of industrial plants and power plants from 1913 . They ran a joint planning office and construction company in Berlin, which Issel ran alone at the end of the 1920s.

Walter Klingenberg was a son of the Hamburg architect Ludwig Klingenberg and his wife Sophie Wilhelmine (née Ulex). Together with his brother Georg Klingenberg , he was involved in the construction of many power plants, for example with Issel he provided the construction plans for the "Klingenberg power plant" in Berlin-Rummelsburg, which was named after his brother. He is the maternal grandfather of mathematician Tammo tom Dieck and chemist Heindirk tom Dieck .
