Culture and sights

The branch church of St. Radegund is the oldest church in the Lesach Valley.

Fourteen Holy Helpers Chapel

The chapel, consecrated to the 14 helpers in need , was built in 1884 on the spot where a wayside shrine was formerly dedicated to St. Apollonia . After a fire on May 2, 1959, the building was restored and rededicated in 1962. The neo-baroque building with a 3/8 end, pilaster strips and arched windows is crowned with a roof turret over the west gable. The baroque altar in the arched style shows the child Jesus surrounded by the fourteen helpers in relief. The furnishings also include a crucifix with the tools of the Passion and a Lourdes grotto .
