Viktorija Oleksijivna Borschtschenko ( Ukrainian Вікторія Олексіївна Борщенко ; born January 5, 1986 in Cherson ) is a Ukrainian handball player who belongs to the squad of the Ukrainian national team.
Career
Viktorija Borschtschenko was until February 2003 with the Ukrainian first division club HK Dnepryanka Cherson under contract and then joined the league rivals HK Halychanka Lviv . From 2009 the outside player ran for HK Sparta , with whom she won the championship in 2010. After Borschtschenko played half a season for Zaporozhye SDIA , she joined the Russian club GK Dynamo Volgograd . After three championships (2011, 2012 and 2013) with Volgograd, she signed a contract with GK Rostov-on-Don . With Rostov she won the Russian Championship in 2015, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020, the Russian Cup in 2015 and the EHF Cup in 2017 .
Borschtschenko played 46 caps for the Ukrainian selection, for which they scored 154 goals. With Ukraine she took part in the World Cup in 2007 and 2009 and in the European Championship in 2008 , 2010 and 2012 .
