The wild ridge is a narrow, rocky cutting edge in the Mürzsteg Alps in Styria . It branches off at the Gingatzwiese in about 1740  m above sea level. A. from the central plateau of the Veitschalpe to the northwest in the direction of Niederalpl and reaches 1874  m above sea level in the Großer Wildkamm . A. and in the Kleiner Wildkamm 1757  m above sea level. A.

Crossing the wild ridge on an unmarked trail is a worthwhile mountain tour, but requires surefootedness and requires simple steep climbing in the section between the Gingatzwiese and the Großer Wildkamm . A marked ascent path and, in winter, the very popular toboggan ski run run through the east channel between Wildkamm and Hoher Veitsch .
