Wilfried Lippitz

Wilfried Lippitz (born March 2, 1945 in Berlin ) is a German educational scientist and professor emeritus for systematic and comparative educational science at the Justus Liebig University . He is a representative of a phenomenologically oriented educational science.

Lippitz completed after graduation 1966 Ernst-Moritz-Arndt-School in Osnabrück a teaching degree at the University of Education Lower (Department Osnabrück), graduating to the first state examination for teaching in elementary schools 1969th He passed the second teaching examination after two years as a junior teacher at the community school in Vörden near Osnabrück. From 1975 Lippitz was a research assistant in teacher training at the comprehensive university and later University of Siegen . In 1980 he completed his habilitation there with the text 'Lebenswelt' or the rehabilitation of pre-scientific experience. In 1995 he became professor for systematic and comparative education at the Justus Liebig University in Giessen. He worked there until he retired in 2008.

Lippitz was a consultant on the editorial team of Phenomenology and Pedagogy ( University of Alberta ). He was co-editor of the yearbook for educational theory together with Walter Bauer, Winfried Marotzki , Jörg Ruhloff , Alfred Schäfer , Christine Wulf . Together with Malte Brinkmann and Ursula Stenger, he is the editor of the Phenomenological Educational Science series .
