Wilfried Möckel

Wilfried Möckel (born July 18, 1932 in Siebenbrunn near Oelsnitz / Vogtland / Saxony; † January 17, 2020 in Ingolstadt ) was a German dentist and, as a medical officer, most recently as a stage manager in dentistry for the Bundeswehr with the rank of general physician .

Life

In 1951 Möckel graduated from high school and then studied dentistry at the Humboldt University of Berlin and the Free University of Berlin . In 1958 he passed his state examination and received his doctorate in 1961. On February 17, 1961 he was appointed medical officer and deployed to the Air Force First Aid Squadron of the Air Force 1 Technical School in Kaufbeuren and the Air Force First Aid Squadron of the Air Force 10 weapons school in Jever. On May 17, 1966 he was promoted to senior staff doctor and in April 1967 he was appointed chief of the 3rd Air Force Medical Training Battalion in Kempten and Klingholz. On April 14, 1972, he became a senior medical officer and deputy battalion commander of the Air Force Medical Training Battalion. After a reclassification, he became teaching group commander of the Air Force medical school in Klingholz. In 1973 he became the dental adviser to the division doctor of the 4th Air Force Division in Goslar and at the same time the squadron chief of the Air Force Medical Squadron IV / Telecommunications Regiment 33. From April 1976 he worked in the specialist dentistry department in the Federal Ministry of Defense. On October 1, 1981 he became a senior physician and head of the infrastructure department BMVg_In_San II 5. In April 1983 he became head of the dentistry department. In September 1984 he became head of the dentistry department and chief dentist of the Air Force in Lohmar-Heit. Between October 1, 1986 and September 30, 1992, he was general practitioner in dentistry at the Bundeswehr Medical Service in Bonn.
