Wilhelm Emanuel Dittlinger (* 22. December 1718 , † 31 March 1799 ) was a Bernese Hafner .

Dittlinger was born in Bern and was the son of pastor Gabriel Dittlinger and Elisabeth Flügel . From 1741 to 1791 he had a pottery at the bulwark in Bern. In 1740 he married Maria Laubscher from Biel . Dittlinger exercised the municipal office of Bremgartner (forest overseer of the Bremgarten forest) from 1751.

In the entire area of ​​the former city ​​and republic of Bern there are still numerous Dittlinger's tiled stoves painted by Peter Gnehm . Most are painted in blue on a white background, a few in sepia and polychrome. A fundamental, scientific evaluation of his work is pending.
