Wilhelm Feise

Wilhelm Georg Ernst Feise (born March 22, 1865 in Hanover ; † November 23, 1948 ) was a German high school teacher and local researcher, particularly on the history of the city of Einbeck .

Life

Wilhelm Feise attended the Lyceum II in Hanover until Easter 1884 , then went through "his military service" for a year and from Easter 1885 studied classical and German philology at the University of Göttingen , then at the University of Berlin and finally at the University of Kiel , where he spent the summer In 1890 passed the exam pro facultate docendi (teaching qualification).

From Michaelis 1890 to Michaelis 1891 he was a member of the educational seminar in Leer , then became a trial candidate at the Ratsgymnasium Osnabrück and the Realschule Geestemünde .

In the winter of 1892/93 he underwent further training at the Royal Gymnastics Teacher Training Institute in Berlin , then worked in the summer of 1893 at the grammar schools in Jever and Emden , from where he was appointed as an assistant teacher at the Royal Gymnastics Teacher Training Institute for 1893/94 . At Easter 1894 he finally got his job as a senior teacher at the Einbeck Realprogymnasium .

Of his numerous local historical treatises , the essay On the History of the Jews in Einbeck was reprinted in 1988 on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Reichspogromnacht and the destruction of the Einbeck synagogue in 1938 on Bismarckstrasse .
