Wilhelm Habrucker
Wilhelm Habrucker (born October 2, 1815 in Gumbinnen , † January 20, 1891 in Memel ) was a German Protestant theologian in East Prussia.
Life
Habrucker attended the Friedrichsschule Gumbinnen , from which he graduated Michaelmas in 1834 with the school leaving certificate. In the winter semester 1834/35 enrolled him at the University of Königsberg for Protestant theology . Like many high school graduates from his school, he became a member of the Littuania corps team . In the sheets of memory (Schmiedeberg) is a portrait watercolor by “William v. Nilty ”(as his pub name is ) and two federal brothers. Since 1838 candidate for preaching office, he was employed as a substitute teacher at the Friedrichsschule. He resigned on May 27, 1839. Later he went to the Gumbinnen city school. He switched toecclesiastical office and became pastor in 1861 , later superintendent in Memel. In 1890, at the age of 75, he retired.
