Heinrich Theodor Wilhelm Hirsch (born August 22, 1861 in Goslar ; † October 1, 1918 in Essen ) was the syndic of a chamber of commerce and a member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Hirsch attended the secondary school in Goslar and studied political science at the universities of Leipzig and Berlin . From 1887 to 1897 he was the economic secretary of the Central Association of German Industrialists . Since 1897 he was the syndic of the Chamber of Commerce for the districts of Essen, Mülheim an der Ruhr and Oberhausen . He was also a city councilor in Essen since 1900, a member of the provincial parliament of the Rhine Province , a deputy member of the Cologne District Railway Council , the Rhine Waterways Advisory Board, the Waterways Advisory Board for the Rhine-Herne Canal and the Lippewasserstraße and the General Waterway Advisory Board.

From 1901 he was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives and from January 19, 1916 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Merseburg 6 ( Sangerhausen , Eckartsberga ) and the National Liberal Party .
