Wilhelm Theodor Roscher (also: Wilhelm Roscher ; born June 6, 1818 in Dreye near Syke ; † November 22, 1893 in Göttingen ) was a German judge and parliamentarian .

Wilhelm Theodor Roscher was the son of the customs director Theodor Roscher and brother of Heinrich Roscher , also a judge and MdHdA.

The lawyer Theodor Roscher was a son of Wilhelm Theodor Roscher, who wrote several publications "on the life and work of his father" in 1892, 1909 and 1913 (photographs).

Career

Wilhelm Theodor Roscher studied law at the Georg-August University in Göttingen . In 1838 he became a member of the Corps Bremensia Göttingen . After completing his studies, as a supporter of the Göttingen Seven, he was initially not admitted to the auditor's examination for a long time. He then went on to become a judge. In 1860 he became a senior appellate judge at the higher regional court in Celle . He later became president of the regional court in Göttingen .

Roscher was a member of the Second Chamber of the Estates Assembly of the Kingdom of Hanover from 1864 to 1865 . From 1867 to 1869 he was a member of the constituency of Hanover 35 (Verden) and from 1870 to 1873 of the constituency of Hanover 5 (Lingen) in the Prussian House of Representatives . He belonged to the faction of the National Liberal Party . In 1872 and 1873 he was a member of the Judicial Commission.
