Wilhelm Wiesberg (born September 13, 1850 in Vienna ; † August 25, 1896 there ; actually Wilhelm Bergamenter ) was an Austrian writer and folk singer .

Wilhelm Wiesberg played in children's comedies in the Vienna Theater in der Josefstadt and worked for the magazines Figaro , Kikeriki , Zeitgeist and Der Floh . After losing his job, he became a popular singer. Wiesberg wrote 72 antics , 30 solo scenes and more than 1000 songs. He often worked with Johann Sioly or Wilhelm Seidl.

His grave is in the Dornbacher Friedhof in Vienna (group 3, number 12). In 1913, Wiesberggasse was named after him in Vienna- Ottakring (16th district) .
