Wilhelmsberg (Proskau)

Wilhelmsberg (Polish: Wybłyszczów ) is a district of the city of Proskau in the Opole Voivodeship .

history

Wilhelmsberg was founded as a colony in 1797. The inhabitants were originally fathers, i.e. wood chippers who worked in the extensive forest areas near Proskau. In the 19th century Wilhelmsberg was raised to a rural community and belonged to the district of Schloss Proskau .

In 1845 there were 14 houses in the village. In the same year, 99 people lived in Wilhelmsberg, 79 of them Catholic and 20 Protestant.
