Zlattnik (Polish. Złotniki , 1936-1945 Goldenau ) is a village in Poland in the municipality of Proskau ( Prószków ). It is located south of the city of Opole and is therefore in the Opole Voivodeship .

Zlattnik is located three kilometers northeast of the township seat Proskau and nine kilometers south of the district town and voivodeship capital Opole ( Opole ). Voivodeship Road 414 runs through the village .

history

The village of Zlattnik was mentioned for the first time in a document of the Opole Duke Wladislau I from November 30, 1260 as Zlotnici , in which the two villages Zlattnik and Zlönitz are assigned to the parish in Chrzumczütz . In 1784 the village had two farms and 25 farmers. In 1814 the village was almost completely destroyed by a major fire. In 1845 the village again had 60 houses, three craft businesses and a school house.

During the referendum in Upper Silesia in 1921, 174 people voted for integration into Poland and 178 to remain in the German Reich. Between the years 1935 and 1945 the village was called Goldenau .

In 1945 the previously German place came under Polish administration and was renamed Złotniki and joined the Silesian Voivodeship. In 1950 the place came to the Opole Voivodeship. In 1999 the place came to the re-established Powiat Opolski. On April 30, 2010 the village was also given the official German place name Zlattnik .
