The Wilhelmstaler Bach (other name: Hallebach) is a left tributary of the Wupper on the city limits between the North Rhine-Westphalian cities of Wuppertal and Remscheid and the city of Radevormwald in the lower reaches.

Location and topography

The Wilhelmstaler Bach rises at 310 meters above sea level. NN near Lusebusch north of the Remscheid district of Hackenberg and flows through a deep Kerbtal in an easterly direction. Behind the Hof Böhlefeld it crosses the city limits to Wuppertal and is fed by the Frielinghauser Bach. It then flows for a few hundred meters parallel to the city limits of Remscheid, receives inflow from several side waters and crosses the city limits to Radevormwald. There, the stream is dammed in two large ponds and passes under the site of a former paper mill in the Radevormwald district of Wilhelmstal . It joins after about 2.3 kilometers at 222 meters above sea level. NN in the Wupper .
