Willi Müller (born December 22, 1936 in Stemmas ) is a German politician ( CSU ).

Life and work

After graduating from elementary school and attending agricultural technical schools, Müller continued his education in adult education courses. He then went on study trips to France , Sweden , the Netherlands , Italy and Belgium . From 1961 to 1966 he worked as a part-time employee of the Protestant rural youth in Bavaria and was its chairman from 1967 to 1972. At the same time he was a member of the presidium of the Bavarian Farmers' Association . From 1972 to 1983 he was the deputy district chairman of the Association of Agricultural Technical School Graduates. As a member of the regional synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bavaria since 1984, he has been involved in professional and church organizations.

Müller was elected to the Bavarian state parliament in 1970, to which he belonged until 2003. From 1990 to 1994 he was chairman of the committee for food, agriculture and forestry and from 1998 to 2003 deputy chairman of the CSU parliamentary group. He is also a member of the district council of the Wunsiedel district .

Public offices

From November 15, 1995 to October 6, 1998, Müller served as State Secretary in the State Ministry for State Development and Environmental Issues in the government of the Free State of Bavaria led by Prime Minister Edmund Stoiber .
