Willi Scholz

Willi Scholz (born May 25, 1930 in Berlin ; † April 1, 2003 there ) was a German actor .

Life

Scholz completed an acting training from 1949 to 1951 at the drama school of Carl Winter and Maria von Faber du Faur. He then began as a theater actor at the Brandenburg State Theater . Further theater stations followed in the provinces with engagements at the Hans Otto Theater in Potsdam , in Leipzig , at the Plauen-Zwickau Theater , at the Cottbus Theater and in Halle . Since 1961 Scholz had several theater engagements at various Berlin theaters. He appeared at the Berliner Ensemble (from 1961), at the Komische Oper and at the Deutsches Theater Berlin (1965–1995). He then performed at the Berlin Hansa Theater until 2001, where he played the teacher Bömmel in a stage version of the novel Die Feuerzangenbowle .

At DEFA and on GDR television , Scholz was seen as a character actor in numerous films, especially in fairy tale films . He made his film debut in 1947 with a small role in the crime film Razzia , directed by Werner Klingler . He played piggyback in the DEFA fairy tale film Snow White (1961) .

In the six-part DFF television series Ferienheim Bergkristall , he played the main role of the home manager Helmut Oberpichler .
