William Benjamin Fauver (born March 2, 1954 in Cleveland , Ohio ) is a retired American figure skater .

Fauver started with his partner Alice Cook at the national championships in 1975. They finished fifth in pair skating. A year later they became runner-up and qualified for the Olympic Winter Games in Innsbruck . In these they reached rank twelve. They finished the world championship in Gothenburg in the same year in ninth place.

After a break of several years, Fauver returned to figure skating in 1981. With his new partner Lea Ann Miller , he competed in another four US championships between 1981 and 1984. They were runner-up three times and came third once. At the international figure skating competition Skate America , they were able to take second place in 1982. Furthermore, Fauver and Miller were able to place themselves in the top ten at all figure skating world championships between 1981 and 1984. At the 1984 Winter Olympics in Sarajevo , they finished tenth.
