William Thomas Larkin

William Thomas Larkin (born March 31, 1923 in Mount Morris ; † November 4, 2006 ) was Roman Catholic Bishop of Saint Petersburg .

Life

William Thomas Larkin was ordained a priest of Saint Augustine on May 15, 1947 .

On April 18, 1979, he was appointed Bishop of Saint Petersburg by Pope John Paul II . The Pope personally donated him episcopal ordination on May 27 of the same year ; Co - consecrators were Duraisamy Simon Lourdusamy , Secretary of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples, and Eduardo Martínez Somalo , substitute for the State Secretariat . On November 29, 1988, the Pope accepted his age-related resignation.
