Křešín

Křešín (German Kreschin ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located 13 kilometers north of Pacov and belongs to the Okres Pelhřimov .

geography

Křešín is located in the southwest of the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands at the confluence of the Mohelnice in the Martinický potok ( Goldbach ). The Holý vrch (703 m) and Stražiště (744 m) rise to the south .

Neighboring towns are Lipkov, Sudislavice and Malá Paseka in the north, Růžkovy Lhotice and Čeněnice in the Northeast, Chýstovice and Jedlina the east, Blažnov and Zelenkův Mlyn in the southeast, Tříznicko, Stary Smrdov and Skočidolovice in the south, Beránkův Mlyn, Šavrdův Mlyn and Lukavec in the southwest, Štědrovice in the west and Čáslavsko and Mohelnice in the northwest.

history

The first written mention of the Křešín Fortress took place in 1318 as the property of the Hroznata of Křešín. Proven to have been to a school in Křešín since 1350. Until the 15th century, the owners changed frequently, several of them acquired the Křešín title . Around 1500 Křešín was attached to the Karrenberg rule . In 1534 Johanna and Regina von Otradovice were named as owners. After several inheritance divisions among the owners of Karrenberg, Křešín became an independent estate again, which belonged to Smil Lukavecký von Lukavec. He had a new fortress built next to the courtyard. This was completely extinguished in the 17th century. During the Thirty Years' War, imperial troops invaded Křešín in 1620 and harassed the residents.

After the replacement of patrimonial Křešín formed from 1850 with the districts Bláznov , Čeněnice and Mohelnice a municipality in the district administration Ledetsch . A little later Dolní Kralovice became the seat of the district court . From 1949 Křešín belonged to the Okres Pacov. After its dissolution, the community was assigned to Okres Pelhřimov in 1961 and at the same time Kramolín, which had previously belonged to Buřenice , was umgemeind to Křešín. In 1973 a culture house was built next to the church.

On the Panský mlýn, on the slopes of the Martinický potok, there is a downhill slope with a tow lift.

Community structure

The municipality of Křešín consists of the districts Blažnov ( Blasnow ), Čeněnice ( Tschenienitz ), Kramolín ( Kramolin ), Křešín ( Kreschin ) and Mohelnice ( Mohelnice ) and the settlements Lipkov and Tříznicko.

The municipality is divided into the cadastral districts of Kramolín u Křešína and Křešín u Pacova.

Attractions

  • Church of St. Bartholomew with a cemetery on the village square of Křešín, the church has been a parish church since 1350. The old Gothic church was demolished in 1875 and replaced by a new building in neo-Gothic style. Including the walled and gated cemetery, the complex was a cultural monument
  • Way of the Cross with 13 stations and a calvary on Na Kopci hill, created in 1791, the two pillars on the rectory are protected as a cultural monument
