Pošná (German Poschna ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located three kilometers southeast of Pacov and belongs to the Okres Pelhřimov .

geography

Pošná is located in the southwest of the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands on the Vrších hill above the valleys of the Novodvorský potok and Kejrovský potok. To the north rises the Vrších (586 m), in the southeast V Čihadle (616 m), south of the Proseč (615 m) and in the west of the Ve Vrších (589 m).

Neighboring towns are Roučkovice and Samšín in the north, Přáslavice, Houskův Mlyn and Útěchovice in the Northeast, Zahrádka and Litohošť the east, Leskovice and Nesvačily the southeast, Proseč, Nízká Lhota and Novy Dvur in the south, Dul and Dolský Mlyn in the southwest, Propad and Cetoraz in West and Vejvarka, Pacov , Kuňovka and Nová Ves in the northwest.

history

The village was first mentioned in a document in 1369. Pošná belonged to the Proseč and Pošná rule until the middle of the 19th century.

After the abolition of patrimonial Pošna / Poschna formed from 1850 a municipality in the district administration Pelhřimov. Between 1877 and 1890 Pošna was united with Proseč and Nesvačily to form Proseč-Pošna . The place name Pošná has been used since the end of the 19th century . In 1947 the village was assigned to the Okres Pacov. Since its abolition in 1961 Pošná has belonged again to the Okres Pelhřimov . At the same time, the community Proseč u Pošné including Nesvačily became the district of Pošná. 1980 Zahrádka was incorporated, which was previously a district of Útěchovičky . In the same year the name of the district Proseč u Pošné was changed to Proseč .

Community structure

The municipality Pošná consists of the districts Nesvačily ( Neslatschil ), Pošná ( Poschna ), Proseč ( Prosetsch ) and Zahrádka ( Sachradka ) as well as the one-layer Na Pazdernách.

The municipality is divided into the cadastral districts Pošná, Proseč u Pošné and Zahrádka u Pošné.

Attractions

  • Baroque Proseč Castle, which was erected in the 18th century from a Renaissance fortress with two side rondels, is now used as a senior citizens' residence.
  • Church of St. Bartholomew in Pošná, the church built in the second half of the 13th century was redesigned in the Baroque style in 1680. Inside there are Gothic wall paintings from the 14th century
