Útěchovice , until 1919 Velké Outěchovice , (German Groß Autiechowitz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located nine kilometers northwest of Pelhřimov and belongs to the Okres Pelhřimov .
geography
Útěchovice is located in a right side valley of the Bořetický potok in the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands . To the north lies the Račín forest, in the northwest rises the Hůrka (554 m).
Neighboring towns are Bořetice and Mašovice in the north, Milotičky in the northeast, Bácovice in the east, Bitětice and Pejškov in the southeast, Útěchovičky and Zahrádka in the southwest and Přáslavice and Březina in the northwest.
history
The first written mention of the village belonging to the Řečice rule took place in 1300. When the rule was divided, the village came to Pelhřimov in 1554 .
At the time of the abolition of patrimonial Útěchovice belonged to Vilém Pistorius on Hořepník . In 1850 the village of Velké Outěchovice was established, which in 1919 changed its name to Útěchovice. In 1964 Mašovice was incorporated, and in 1980 Útěchovičky and Litohoš kamen came . On January 1, 1989, the village was attached to Hořepník and since November 24, 1990 it has been independent again.
