Dehtáře (German Dechtar ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located seven kilometers northeast of Pelhřimov and belongs to the Okres Pelhřimov .
geography
Dehtáře is on the right side of the Hejlovka on a ridge above the valley of the Onšovický potok in the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands . To the south runs the route of the state road 34 / E 551 between Pelhřimov and Humpolec , behind it the Vršek (607 m) and the Hůrka (581 m) rise.
Neighboring towns are Vadčice and Milotice in the north, Kletečná in the northeast, Onšovice in the east, Útěchovičky in the southeast, Chvojnov in the south, Kojčice in the southwest and Svépravice in the west.
history
The first written mention of the village of Dechtář, which belonged to the Řečice episcopal rule, comes from 1379.
After the abolition of patrimonial rule, the Dechtář community was established in 1850, and its name was changed to Dechtáře from 1900 and finally to Dehtáře in 1921. On April 1, 1976 Dehtáře including its districts Milotice, Onšovice and Vadčice Velký Rybník was struck and incorporated with this on July 1, 1980 to Pelhřimov . Since November 24, 1990, the village of Dehtáře exists again.

The municipality Dehtáře consists of the districts Dehtáře ( Dechtar ), Milotice ( Milotitz ), Onšovice ( Wonschowitz ) and Vadčice ( Watschitz ), which also form cadastral districts.
