Čejov (German Tschejow , also Ziegow , Tschiegow ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located three kilometers north-northeast of Humpolec and belongs to the Okres Pelhřimov .
geography
Čejov is located on Čejovský potok in the hill country of the upper Sázava , a part of the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands in the border area of Bohemia and Moravia . To the northeast rises the Kopec (655 m), in the east the Orlík (678 m) and in the south the Rozkoš (644 m) with the ruins of the Orlík Castle .
Neighboring towns are Malý Budíkov and Kejžlice in the north, Leština in the east, Splav, Zdislavice and Rozkoš in the south-east, Vilémov and Humpolec in the south, Humpolecké Hadiny in the south-west, Hadina and Světlice in the west and Budíkov in the north-west.
