history

The first written mention of Litohostův dvůr took place in 1558. It is assumed that the place existed before the Hussite Wars and belonged to the Řečice rule . Until the second half of the 16th century, the owners were the lords of Leskovec, who acquired larger parts of it when the Řečice rulership was divided.

After the replacement of patrimonial Litohošť in 1850 became an independent municipality with the district Leskovice. In 1920 Leskovice broke up and became independent. 1964 Útěchovičky was incorporated. In 1980 Litohošť was annexed to Útěchovice and with this municipality in 1989 Hořepník was added. After the Velvet Revolution , Litohošť became independent again.
