Budíkov (German Budikau ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located five kilometers north of Humpolec and belongs to the Okres Pelhřimov .
geography
Budíkov is located on the left side of the Pstružný potok in the hill country of the upper Sázava , a part of the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands in the border area between Bohemia and Moravia . The Kopec (655 m) rises to the east and the Orlík (678 m) to the southeast.
Neighboring towns are Řečice in the north, Malý Budíkov and Kejžlice in the northeast, Mozerov in the east, Čejov in the southeast, Hadina and Světlice in the south, Horní Rápotice in the west and Kaliště and Pusté Lhotsko in the northwest.

Budíkov was first mentioned in a document in 1226.
