Dubovice (German Dubowitz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is four kilometers west of Pelhřimov and belongs to the Okres Pelhřimov .
geography
Dubovice is located on the western slope of the Varta hill (623 m) above the Hejlovka valley in the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands . The Hosopýl (608 m) rises to the southeast. The place is located south of the state road 19 from Pelhřimov to Tábor , from which a dead end road leads to Dubovice.
Neighboring towns are Čakovice in the north, Starý Pelhřimov in the northeast, Pelhřimov in the east, Myslotín in the southeast, Vlásenice in the south, Vlásenický Dvůr, Proseč-Obořiště and Nová Cerekev in the southwest, Stanovice and Čížkov in the west and Pejškov and Lipice in the north-west.
