history
The first documentary mention of the village took place in 1360. Since 1379 carpenters can be proven in Svépravice. The castle carpenter Jan owned three Freihufen land at that time. The place was called Sýpravice or Sejpravice until the 20th century .
After the replacement of patrimonial Sýpravice formed from 1850 a municipality in the district administration Pelhřimov . The school location was Želiv until 1873 , after which lessons took place in Sýpravice at different locations. In 1900 the village consisted of 21 houses and had 232 Czech inhabitants. In 1912, according to plans by the builder Antonín Schreyer from Pelhřimov, a school building was built. Between 1921 and 1927 the Sedlice dam was built at the confluence of Hejlovka and Jankovský potok. Since 1923 the municipality has been called Svépravice . In the 1970s, teaching in Svépravice was discontinued. The Trnávka dam was built from 1977 to 1981. Between 1980 and 1990 the village was incorporated into Pelhřimov.
In addition to the tradition of carpentry, Svépravice is also a place for brass music. From the village of military bandmaster Borovinka-Rychtařík that here the chapel came Sýpraváci , as well as the Kapellmeister Pelhřimov Žemlička and Kotrč.
