Mysletín (German Misletin ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located seven kilometers south of Humpolec and belongs to the Okres Pelhřimov .
geography
Mysletín is located in the Křemešnická vrchovina, a part of the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands . The village lies on the right side above the Jankovský potok valley in the basin of a small tributary. To the north rises the Soví hať (619 m), in the east the Bojanov (665 m), southeast the Opálená (652 m) and in the west the Čihadlo (613 m). In the northeast is the Vilímek reservoir. There are several mills and farms in the vicinity of the village. Jankovský potok, which runs west of Mysletín, has been protected as a national natural monument since 1992 because of its river pearl mussel population .
Neighboring towns are Staré Bříště and Krasoňov in the north, Ústí in the east, Buková and Dudín in the south-east, Polánky, Vyskytná and Petrkov in the south, Zachotín and Pazderny in the south-west, Vlčinec in the west and Zálesí, Mladé Bříště and Hojkovy in the north-west.
history
The first written mention of the village comes from the year 1226.
After the replacement of patrimonial Mysletín became an independent municipality in the district administration Německý Brod in 1850 . In 1910 the village came to the Humpolec district and since 1961 it has belonged to Okres Pelhřimov . In 1976 it was incorporated into Zachotín and on July 1, 1980 after Mladé Bříště . Mysletín has been independent again since 1990.
