Bohdalín (German: Bohdalin , also Bochdalin ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located 18 kilometers north of Jindřichův Hradec and belongs to the Okres Pelhřimov .
geography
Bohdalín extends below the Fýfar pond at Bohdalínský potok in the south of the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands . The narrow-gauge railway line Jindřichův Hradec - Obrataň , the next station of which is in Včelnička , runs northeast of Chválkov .
Neighboring towns are Benešov in the north, Dráchov and Nová Ves in the northeast, Včelnička in the east, Bukovka in the south, Betlém in the southwest, Mirotín in the west and Dvořiště in the northwest.
history
"Bohdalovo Pole" was first mentioned in a document in 1379 in the land register of the Rosenberg estates, previously it was owned by the Malovec von Lišov . In 1610 the village belonged to Václav Vencelík von Vrchoviště, who lost his property because of his participation in the uprising after the Battle of White Mountain . In 1623 the Spaniard Enrique Paradys von Eskaide bought the Choustník manor and divided it into the Kamenice and Černovice manors , with Bohdalín coming to Černovice. The Talmberger inherited the property from the Paradys . A plague epidemic broke out in 1680.
