history
The first documentary mention of the village Kojčice, which belonged to the episcopal rule Řečice, comes from the year 1379. The mention of a Bohuchval from Kojčice in 1219 indicates that the place already existed at that time.
After the division of the Řečice rule, Kojčice, which was previously known as Kožčice , came to the Pelhřimov rule and thus to the Říčanský of Říčany. In 1572 the town of Pelhřimov bought Kojčice and five years later the place was hereditary. Until the end of the patrimonial rule, the village remained in the municipality of Pelhřimov.
In 1850 the municipality of Kojčice was established, into which the neighboring town of Služátky was incorporated in 1960. On January 1, 1980 Kojčice came as a district to the town of Pelhřimov and since November 24, 1990 the place has again been a separate municipality.
