Lesná (German Lesna ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located 15 kilometers northwest of Pelhřimov and belongs to the Okres Pelhřimov .
geography
Lesná is located on the southeast of Stražiště (744 m) in the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands . The place is in the basin of a left tributary to the Trnávka . In the west are the remains of the Smolín Castle (Pechburg).
Neighboring towns are Babice in the north, Dobroměřice in the northeast, Kyjov and Hořepník in the east, Horní Dvůr and Březina in the southeast, Samšín in the south, Velká Chyška in the southwest, Bratřice in the west and Útěchovice pod Stražištěm in the northwest.
history
Lesná was first mentioned in a document in 1299. The place founded by Hungarian settlers in the 2nd half of the 13th century was originally located west of the present-day village near the Pechburg, to which it also belonged. The castle has been desolate since 1578. The village was parish after Hořepník since the 17th century .
After the relinquishment of patrimonial Lesná became an independent municipality, which until the second half of the 20th century included the district Kyjov (Kühhof), which is now part of Buřenice . In 1967 Lesná was incorporated into Velká Chyška , and since 1990 it has been independent again.
