After the replacement of patrimonial Nové Bříště formed from 1850 a district of the community Staré Bříště in the district administration Německý Brod . The school was built in 1862. At the beginning of the 20th century, the place name Mladé Bříště prevailed. In 1910 the village became part of the Humpolec district and since 1948 it formed its own municipality with the Hojkovy district, which had previously belonged to Zachotín . In 1930 Mladé Bříště consisted of 23 houses and had 125 inhabitants. The community Mladé Bříště was assigned to the Okres Pelhřimov in 1961. In 1974 Záhoří was incorporated.
