Vysoká Lhota (German Hohenlhota ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located 13 kilometers west of Pelhřimov and belongs to the Okres Pelhřimov .
geography
Vysoká Lhota is located south of the state road 19 between Pelhřimov and Tábor in the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands . The village is located on the northern slope of the 649 m high Peklo above the valley of the Novodvorský potok.
Neighboring towns are Nový Dvůr in the north, Zlátenka in the north-east, Moraveč and Lidmaňka in the south-east, Lidmaň in the south, Dobrá Voda u Pacova in the south-west, Věžná in the west and Kámen in the north-west.
history
Vysoká Lhota was first mentioned in a document in 1430.
The village is dominated by agriculture, but most of the residents work in Kámen, Pacov and Pelhřimov. Vysoká Lhota is a member of the Stražiště microregion.
With 18 inhabitants, Vysoká Lhota is the smallest municipality in the Czech Republic in terms of population (January 1, 2012) , in terms of area it is Vlkov pod Oškobrhem .
