history
The area was settled in the 11th century. In 1144, Vladislav II left large lands on the Bohemian-Moravian border to the Prague bishop Otto . These were shared a little later after the Seelau monastery was founded . Křelovice remained under the episcopal rule Řečice and was first mentioned in writing in 1379 as part of it. With 24 hubs and 40 inns, Křelovice was the second largest settlement of the manor after nachečice. In 1454 the village was divided. The owners of the Řečice share became the lords of Stráž, the pilgrims share was acquired by Nikolaus Trčka from Lípa . Vladislav II handed over the property to Prokop Vojslavský of Vojslavice in 1456, who held Křelovice and Jiřičky for three years.
After the replacement of patrimonial Křelovice formed from 1850 with Jiřičky and Boroviny a political community in the district administration Pelhřimov . In 1974 Číhovice and in 1975 Poříčí, which had previously belonged to Bolechov, was incorporated.
