Řečice (German Retschitz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located seven kilometers north of Humpolec and belongs to the Okres Pelhřimov .
geography
Řečice is located in the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands .
Neighboring towns are Bystrá and Dolní Město in the north, Lipnice nad Sázavou in the northeast, Kejžlice in the southeast, Malý Budíkov and Budíkov in the south, Pusté Lhotsko in the southwest, Proseč in the west and Záběhlice and Velké Křepiny in the northwest.

Řečice was first mentioned in a document in 1307.
Community structure
The municipality Řečice consists of the districts Bystrá ( Bistra ), Křepiny ( Kschepin ), Řečice ( Retschitz ) and Záběhlice ( Sabiechlitz ). Basic settlement units are Bystrá, Malé Křepiny ( Klein Kschepin ), Řečice, Velké Křepiny ( Groß Kschepin ) and Záběhlice.
The municipality is divided into the cadastral districts of Křepiny and Řečice u Humpolce.
