Komorovice (German Komorowitz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located four kilometers south of the city center of Humpolec and belongs to the Okres Pelhřimov .
geography
Komorovice is located in the Křemešnická vrchovina, a part of the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands . The village is located southwest of the Panský les forest on a 592 m high wooded knoll. To the northeast rises the Krásná vyhlídka (662 m), in the east of the Holý vrch (662 m) and in the southeast of the Vlčí hory (608 m) and northwest of the Havlův kopec (632 m). In the west, the state road I / 34 / E 551 between Humpolec - Pelhřimov passes Komorovice.
Neighboring towns are Vystrkov in the north, Lipovky, Vilémov and Plačkov in the north-east, Bystrá in the east, Březina and Vlčí Hory in the south-east, Staré Bříště , Hojkovy and Mladé Bříště in the south, Rokosův Mlýn, Velký Rybník and Znáhoč in the west and Hněvkovice in the north-west.
history
The first written mention of the village comes from the year 1226.
After the abolition of patrimonial Komorovice formed from 1850 a district of the municipality Staré Bříště in the district administration Německý Brod . In 1910 Komorovice with the district Vystrkov became an independent municipality in the Humpolec district . 1961 Komorovice was assigned to the Okres Pelhřimov . In 1990 Vystrkov broke up and formed its own community.
