history
Pavlov was built in the 13th century as a fortification to protect the town of Pelhřimov . The first written mention of the property Pavlov belonging to the episcopal rule Řečice took place in 1377. After the division of the rule, Pavlov remained with the Řečice share and in 1497 came to the lords of Léskovec on Nová Cerekev . In 1614 Magdalana Robhamp von Ptení bought the Pavlov estate. In the 17th century Pavlov became an independent estate with a chateau and farm.
After the abolition of patrimonial rule , the Pavlov parish was established in 1850. The following owners of the property included u. a. Stanislav Štekl and MP Václav Donát.
In 1973 it was incorporated into Pelhřimov. Pavlov has been a parish again since 1990.
The estate with the former distillery is located above the village . A small hydroelectric power station with two turbines used to be operated by the Štenflík pond, which is now closed.
