Zajíčkov (German Sajitschkow ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located six kilometers southeast of Pelhřimov and belongs to the Okres Pelhřimov .
geography
Zajíčkov is located in the Podlesník valley in the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands . The Švejbory (666 m) rises to the east and the Čihalka (673 m) to the south-east. Zajíčkov is on the railway from Pelhřimov to Jindřichův Hradec , there is a train station in the village.
Neighboring towns are Pavlov and Nemojov in the north, Radňov in the northeast, Lešov in the east, Domeček, Letny and Dobra Voda in the southeast, Houserovka and Rovná in the southwest and Rynárec in the northwest.
history
The first documentary mention of the village, which originally belonged to the Řečice manor, dates back to 1203. Until the 16th century, the place belonged to the Nová Cerekev and Nová Buková manors before it came to Pelhřimov in 1592 . There he stayed until the replacement of patrimonial in 1850. Then Zajíčkov gained independence and formed a municipality with the district of Rovná.
In 1976 the village was incorporated into Rynárec and on January 1, 1980 together with this to Pelhřimov. Zajíčkov has existed again since 1990.
