Koberovice (German Koberowitz , older also Kobersdorf ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located nine kilometers northwest of Humpolec and belongs to the Okres Pelhřimov .
geography
Koberovice is located in the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands on the right side above the valleys of the Želivka and its tributary Lohenický potok. Ve Vrchu (504 m) rises to the southeast. The D 1 / E 50 / E 65 motorway runs west of the village ; exit 81 is one kilometer south of Koberovice. The reservoir of the Švihov dam extends beyond the motorway and extends to the Bělský Dvůr.
Neighboring towns are Hojanovice in the north, Chvalkovice, Podivice and Bělice in the north-east, Bučí, Kaliště , Hladov and Lohenice in the east, Podolí, Holušice and Speřice in the south-east, Lísky, Houka and Miletín in the south, Bělský Dvůr and Otavoestenžaty in the west as well as Chalupy, Vojslavice and Mešnik in the north-west.
history
Kobersdorph was first mentioned in a document in 1341.
After the abolition of patrimonial Koberovice formed from 1850 a district of the municipality Vojslavice in the district administration Německý Brod . The village of Koberovice was established in 1897 and from 1910 it belonged to the Humpolec region . 1961 Koberovice was assigned to the Okres Pelhřimov . At the end of the 1960s, construction began on the Švihov dam, through which the deeply cut romantic valley in the bends of the Želivka to the Biela mill sank into a reservoir from 1976 onwards. On October 4, 1973, Lohenice including Hladov was incorporated. At the beginning of 1974 Lísky, which had previously belonged to Holušice, was reassigned to Koberovice.
Community structure
The municipality of Koberovice consists of the districts Koberovice ( Koberowitz ), Lísky ( Liskei ) and Lohenice ( Lohenitz ) as well as the localities Bělský Dvůr ( Bielahof ), Chvalkovice ( Chwachowsky ), Hladov ( Hladow ), Podolí ( Podoly ).
The municipality is divided into the cadastral districts of Koberovice, Lísky u Holušic and Lohenice.
