Čáslavsko (German Tschaslawsko , also Czaslawsko ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located 14 kilometers north of Pacov and belongs to the Okres Pelhřimov .
geography
Čáslavsko is located in the southwest of the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands on a ridge between the valleys of the Mohelnice and Martinický potok ( Goldbach ). Jizbický Kopec (599 m) and Horka (603 m) rise to the northeast, Holý vrch (703 m), Stražiště (744 m) and Hřeben (685 m) and northwest of Nazice (623 m) rise.
Neighboring towns are Zhoř, Jeníkov and Jizbice in the north, Stare Práchňany, Nové Práchňany, Sudislavice and Malá Paseka in the Northeast, Lipkov and Mohelnice the east, Křešín and Štědrovice the southeast, Šebířův Mlyn, Pod Hronem and Lukavec in the south, Bezděkov, Dolní Lhota and Kopaniny in the southwest, Horní Lhota in the west and Vračkovice and Buková in the northwest.
history
According to a legend, the village was founded at the beginning of the 16th century by 14 families from Čáslav who settled here after a great fire in the town. The first written mention of Čáslavsko was in 1545. The owner at that time was Nikolaus Jankovský von Talmberg . In the 17th century the village belonged to Lord Trčka von Lípa .
After the abolition of patrimonial Čáslavsko formed from 1850 with the districts Jelenov and Kopaniny a municipality in the district administration Ledetsch . A little later Dolní Kralovice became the seat of the district court . From 1949 Čáslavsko belonged to the Okres Pacov. After its dissolution, the community was assigned to the Okres Pelhřimov in 1961 and at the same time Štědrovice and Skočidolovice were incorporated.
Community structure
The municipality of Čáslavsko consists of the districts Čáslavsko ( Tschaslawsko ), Jelenov ( Hirschental ), Kopaniny ( Kopanin ), Skočidolovice ( Skotschidolowitz ) and Štědrovice ( Stiedrowitz ). Basic settlement units are Čáslavsko, Jelenov, Kopaniny and Štědrovice.
The municipality is divided into the cadastral districts of Čáslavsko and Štědrovice.
