Zlátenka (German Zlatenka , also Slatenka ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located seven kilometers southeast of Pacov and belongs to the Okres Pelhřimov .
geography
Zlátenka is located in the southwest of the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands . The village is located on the south-western slope of the Zlatenka hill (645 m) in the basin of a small stream. The Peklo (649 m) rises to the south. State road 19 between Pelhřimov and Chýnov runs through the village .
Neighboring towns are Proseč and Nesvačily in the north, Leskovice in the Northeast, Němkovičky and Nová Cerekev in the east, Moraveč in the southeast, Peklůvko, Na Peklově, Žlíbek, Lidmaňka and Lidmaň in the south, Dobra Voda u Pacova and Vysoká Lhota in the southwest, Kámen in the west and Černý Mlýn and Nový Dvůr in the northwest.
history
The village was first mentioned in writing in 1362 as Zlatná Lhota . The name derives from a gold deposit, east of the place a mine was operated. Until 1614 Zlátenka belonged to the Kamenitz rule and then became subservient to Pacov . The school location was initially Pošná and from 1835 Kámen . Zlátenka was always parish after Pošná.
After the abolition of patrimonial Zlaténka formed from 1850 a district of the municipality Vysoká Lhota -Zlaténka in the district administration Pelhřimov and between 1855 and 1868 in the district administration Pacov. In 1869 Zlatenka came back to the Pelhřimov District. In 1921 the municipality of Zlatenka was established. In 1948 the village was assigned to the Okres Pacov. Since its abolition in 1961 the place belongs again to the Okres Pelhřimov . In the same year the place name was changed to Zlátenka . In 1975 it was incorporated into Kámen. The municipality of Zlátenka has existed again since 1990.
